Notes: | written by Clare Duffy and Pierre Yves Lemieux. This daringly bilingual play takes audiences on a journey of creativity and madness. Combining the rhythms of Scots-English with Canadian-French, Ana dissolves barriers between languages to explore a space that words alone cannot describe.
Synopsis: | Born before history - before even the gods - in the house of stars, Ana is a strange and wondrous being. She is a delight and a terror. An abomination, a deity, a freak and the star of our carnival show. Ana is not bound by the same laws that govern the lives of us mere mortals. When this creature is caught in the mouth of inescapable decision, she deceives fate by splitting into a new self, multiplying at every crossroad, escaping her own terror to survive, to be free. But the selves she leaves behind still exist and go on living to this day. Now, completely overcome and bewildered by her many incarnations, Ana must face her selves to reconcile her countless existences.

Genre: | PlayDevised | |||||
| Parts: | Male | 2 | Female | 2 | ||
Parts other: | - | |||||
Notes: | Written and Devised by: Clare Duffy, Liz Margree, Jon Spooner and Chris Thorpe
Synopsis: | Tangle is set in an underground research facility on Wimbledon Common where two scientists are on the verge of an incredible breakthrough. It's about the search for a lost brother, a missing uncle, a dead wife and an untraceable atom. It's about heroes, the ethics of progress and daring to believe in things we cannot see. It's a bit like Doctor Who meets Moonlighting. Tangle mixes quantum physics with urban myth, Albert Einstein with Great Uncle Bulgaria and uses leading edge scientific advances to teleport an orange. No really, we do. As with all of Unlimited's shows it's smart and it's funny. It throws some serious emotional and intellectual punches and it isn't scared of being a bit silly. It tells a great story and leaves room for you to do some of the imagining for yourselves. And we teleport an orange. What more could you possibly want?
