| Synopsis: | A young woman, Nadia, struggles to find her place in 1917 Russia, during the country's perilous transition between the February Revolution and Bolshevik (October) Revolution. As Nadia falls in love with Ivan, a middle-aged Bolshevik newspaper editor, her elderly guardian Anna cautions her to be wary of revolutionary change. These three generations reflect the changing of the government and its ideals, from an imperfect past to an uncertain future. | |||||
