NOELLE DONFELD (book writer, lyricist) has written sixteen musicals, most of which have been staged or fully produced by theatres. In 2011, MISS VULCAN 1939 (lyrics) commissioned and produced twice by Red Mountain Theatre in Birmingham, Alabama, was produced by Actors' Co-op Too. GHOST(S) (lyrics) and POWDER PUFF PILOTS (lyrics) were part of Stages 2011, at the Lonny Chapman Theatre, July 16 and 17. A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN (lyrics) was read at the Academy for New Musical Theatre. MITA, THE MAGNIFICENT (book, music, lyrics) is represented by www.YouthPLAYS.com. In 2009 - 2010, THE REVOLUTION OF BETSY LORING (book and lyrics) was read at Encore Theater in Dayton, Ohio (and formerly workshopped for The Tomorrow Project, Casa Manana Theatre, Ft. Worth) ; THE ANTIQUE SHOPPE, (lyrics) was featured in the July/August 2010 issue of The Dramatist Magazine; SQUEAK (lyrics) premiered at the La Canada Theatre; GHOST(S) (lyrics) was staged by the Lyric Theatre, L.A, and POWDER PUFF PILOTS (lyrics) was staged at the UCI Musical Theatre Festival. THE SPARK, HANNAH SENESH (book and lyrics) was performed at Pacific Palisades Playwrights Festival and at Theatre Building Chicago, and CARJACKED! (libretto) premiered at 10 by 10 at the Triangle, the Arts Center, Carrboro, N.C. Earlier produced works include: HANDS (book, lyrics and co-music) in Stages 2000 at Theatre Building Chicago; TWAS (lyrics) commissioned by Nextstage Productions, Houston, SHAHRAZAD, HEADS OR TALES (co-book, lyrics) staged at Century City Theatre and Mercury Musicals, London, and LATC, and AESOP (book and lyrics) at Musical Theatre West. She has also written: FORBIDDEN KINGDOM (lyrics) and BIG TOP (book and lyrics). Affiliated with the Dramatist Guild, ANMT, LAFPI and ASCAP, Ms. Donfeld is a graduate of the University of Southern California, magna cum laude. She is a triple semi-finalist of the Eugene O'Neill Musical Theatre Project.
