| Synopsis: | Hazel in Descent is a whimsical adventure-fairytale featuring original music, puppets, masks, and dance. With a nod to the storytelling style of 1920s silent-film-era physical comedians, Hazel in Descent animatedly explores the relationship between one woman and her self-imposed critic. Hazel (our aforementioned heroine) loses her voice when she loses her lover and boldly takes off after him into a magical realm with only her stuffed monkey for company. There she encounters a vibrant cast of demons, weirdos, bozos, and a little ancient wisdom. - press release | |||||
