Synopsis: | Situation Comedy. The play takes place in a Semi in Highgate in 2008. Derek and Sybil wait for Derek's Brother Melvyn and his wife Carol to arrive for dinner. It is Sybil's 70th Birthday. They are late and Sybil is agitated and annoyed. Long suffering husband Derek tries to be patient. When their guests finally arrive, Carol who is learning the art of Witchcraft is eager to practice her spells on anyone who will be her guinea pig. Sybil's attempts at cooking the dinner leave a lot to be desired, and when Beatrice the neighbour arrives on the scene everything goes from bad to worse. | |||||
