Ty DeMartino is an award-winning playwright and produced screenwriter whose works have appeared on stages on both coasts. In 2007, he was named Playwright of the Year in the Baltimore City Paper's "Best Of" edition for his political Drama "the Blessed Mothers of War." His play, "Finding Fossils" was named Best Production of the 2008 Baltimore Playwrights Festival and later had its west coast premiere at the Road Theatre in Hollywood where it was praised by Los Angeles Theatre critics. In New York City, his political satire "He's No J.F.K." ran Off-Broadway at the Kirk Theatre on 42nd Street and his one act "Lady Liberty" played at Theatres in both Manhattan and Staten Island. His short plays include "Life after Pie" (Pittsburgh New Works Festival and New Britain Rep), "Objects in the Mirror" (San Francisco Fringe Festival), "a Fan Letter to Monica Lewinsky" and "Poor Little Thing" (Baltimore's Spotlighters Theatre). DeMartino most recently completed a new full-length work for the stage called "the Darling Siblings," a Drama about children dealing with the murder of a family member, which was workshopped in New York City.

Synopsis:
Two mothers one American one arab - both have sons at a war. the arab mother searches for her son who is missing in action. the American's son is discharged due to an injury. He returns home haunted by the things he has witnessed.
