Julia Lee Dean, an English writer of Northern Irish descent, grew up in Chichester and now lives in London, where she was a member of the Young Writer's Programme at the Royal Court Theatre and later trained as an actress at Rose Bruford college. In 2011 she founded the Theatre company, "Wired to the Moon Productions" and took shows to the Camden and Belfast Fringe Festivals.

Limbo

Synopsis:

Pilate's Wife

Synopsis:
the wife of Pontius Pilate, Claudia Procula, has been plagued by nightmares ever since she suffered a miscarriage on the long journey from Rome to Israel. Her husband has turned away from her and is seeking comfort in the arms of an unhappy prostitute. Claudia longs to return to Italy and only the appearance of a young teacher at Passover offers her the chance of peace.
