Synopsis:
Towards the end of World War Two a German couple, Hermann and Anna find a half starved man, Daniel, in the woods. They take him home when they realise he is Jewish they hide him in their attic. They also discover that Daniel is a watch maker so they get him repairing old clocks that they then use to barter for food. Daniel is very good at his job and very soon they are making quite a bit of money. But the War is ending - American troops are close by and it looks like Anna and Herman will loose their source of income - that is if they tell Daniel the War is over...
