Notes: | The Pilferers was originally presented as part of Red Kettle's Three Be Wan festival of new one-act plays, alongside 'When I was God' by Conal Creedon and 'Navy Knickers and Other Hang-Ups' by Kate Sweeny (both listed separately).
Synopsis: | The Pilferers is the story of four lads who connive to rob the local Post Office. While the play details the planning and executing of the botched job, it is more concerned with the unravelling relationships of the four young men as they are forced to make an uncomfortable decision - to either go down together or give up one of their gang to save the others.
