After college I lived for two years in Israel where BROTHERS won Best Play award at the Israel Fringe Theatre Festival and received simultaneous productions with Hebrew and Arabic casts. Jerusalem Stage Players later produced it in English. FACES was produced at the Tel Aviv Festival of English Language Plays. I returned to the United States and earned my MFA in Playwriting from Columbia University under Romulus Linney. PIZZA MAN was produced at Columbias Horace Mann Theatre and remounted as the sole Theatre Department representative for the annual Deans Week Showcase. While at Columbia, SEARCHING FOR SALLY received a workshop reading at Londons Royal Court Theatre, where I participated in a summer program. After graduating, Work Light Theatre Company produced BIG BANG; ICE AGE was publicly read at New York Performance Works; and OEDIPUS AT THE CROSSROADS was publicly read at the Orlando Festival of New Plays. During this time, I worked individually with playwrights Laura Censabella and Stuart Spencer. More recently, THE TYPEWRITER, CARROLL GARDENS, SAND BETWEEN OUR TOES, and FOR THE KIDS were publicly read at Theatre for the New City through its New City, New Blood and Scratch Night at TNC reading series. The National Playwrights Conference sent a representative to the first and last readings. Finally, THE GENTLE JEWESS OF VENICE was given two public readings and won First Prize at Jewish Ensemble Theatre Companys 2017 New Play Festival.

Jew of Malta Project, The

Synopsis:
Inspired by the work of Moises Kaufman and similar artists, Daresh Theater Company (the word is Hebrew for probe or inquire) went back in time to the 1500s and the island of Malta, where events dramatized by the English playwright Christopher Marlow in The Jew of Malta occurred. The troupe interviewed over 40 survivors of those horrific incidents, afterwards editing the conversations as well as journal entries and other found texts.
