Literary Agent:  n/a

In 2011Peter John Cooper has been earning his living as a writer for forty years. As a playwright he has been commissioned to write for theatres and companies throughout the UK. As a librettist he has worked with composer Rodrick Skeaping to produce songs, an oratorio as well as for a number of musical plays. His poetry is written for performance where he specialises on full length forty minute events with music and actors. He is a believer in the power of drama as a medium for speech and is a devotee of what used to be called "the well-made play" as well as writing for site-specific and community events. As he says, his writing .."is where poetry collides with playwriting". He produces his own material from his company Spyway Projects.
