Synopsis: | Conceived and directed by Karin Coonrod, More or Less I Am is a music theater piece based on Walt Whitman's Song of Myself (1855) and inspired by the poet's direct address to the soul of the enormous diversity of these western continents, the new world. Wild in its desire to cross borders, it is a declaration of interdependence, urgently in need of hearings out loud in community. With original music by Colin Jacobsen and Kyle Sanna, More or Less I Am involves 6 actors, 1 mezzo sopranos, 1 child, 5 musicians and several members of the audience. | |||||
