| Synopsis: | Gandhi Marg is inspired by Tennessee Williams "A Streetcar Named Desire". All the characters' ancestry hails from India, except Vinod O'Doul, who is half-Irish. The action takes place in Shardul and Shanti's small one-bedroom on Chicago's Devon Avenue, officially dubbed 'Gandhi Marg' by the City of Chicago. Shanti and Shardul are newlyweds deeply in love. Shanti's sister, Bina, arrives and the past charges into the present and affects the futures of everyone involved. | |||||
