Synopsis: With Odysseus 20 years gone from Ithaca, Penelope faces an unwanted marriage to one of a growing band of murderous suitors who now threaten her son's life. A beggar arrives, asking the queen to hold off the wedding until she's heard his story--fantastic tales of her husband's travels among monsters, witches and gods. In this new telling of the famous warrior's homecoming, Odysseus returns to do battle--not just with the suitors, but with Penelope herself, over their fidelity, their kingdom and their vengeance. | ||||
