Synopsis:

Francoise and Jeanne are twelve and inseparable. They play shops. With shoe boxes they have made an entire shopping street. Jeanne is fascinated with the red hair of one of the customers at her father's barbershop. An Englishman arrives wanting to set up shop in Quebec City.
