Synopsis: This is a darkly comic new play by Christopher Cartmill that follows the misfortunes of a group of actors staging the work of an obscure Czech playwright. Apotheosis follows the story of Joanna, a down-on-her-luck actress who's borrowed money from her parents to self-produce her favorite play. As she juggles a clueless director, egotistical costars, and a venue requiring a Sherpa guide to reach, despair becomes overwhelming.
