Synopsis:
This critically acclaimed world premiere production marked the sophomore play by playwright Camareno. It was the story of a young brother 17, and sister 15 who find themselves in the middle of a scandal at a fictitious mission in Old California; they claim to see visions of the Virgin Mother. The Franciscan monk who came to interrogate the youths uncovers a secret he thought was long forgotten. Camareno was hailed by the LA Times as a "vivid writer" who explored the "mysteries of faith while exposing the violence that baptized California in blood."
