Victor L. Cahn (Playwright) has written numerous plays produced off-Broadway and regionally, including Roses in December, Embraceable Me, Fit to Kill, Dally with the Devil, A Dish for the Gods, Getting the Business, Sheepskin/Bottom of the Ninth, and Sherlock Solo, a one-man show that he performs. He has appeared onstage throughout the capital region of New York, taking leading roles in plays by Shakespeare, Pinter, Coward, Ayckbourn, Simon, Gurney, and Knott. He is Professor Emeritus of English at Skidmore College, and author of five books on Shakespeare, critical volumes on Tom Stoppard and Harold Pinter, Conquering College: A Guide for Undergraduates, the memoir Classroom Virtuoso: Recollections of a Life in Learning, Polishing Your Prose (with Steven M. Cahn), and two novels, Romantic Trapezoid and Sound Bites. His articles and reviews have appeared in such varied publications as Modern Drama, The Literary Review, The New York Times, The Chronicle of Higher Education, and Variety. He is a member of the Dramatists Guild, Inc.

Dally With the Devil

Synopsis:
Charlotte runs an influential political blog from her home on Cape Cod. Irene, working for a long-time Senator in the midst of a tough campaign, supplies Charlotte with damaging material about the Senator's opponent. Megan, an aide to that opponent, arrives with new reports, and these three power-brokers lock horns in a battle of manipulation and political intrigue. As charges escalate and the battle swerves in unexpected directions, these highly intelligent and articulate women serve up blackmail, power plays, and plenty of media spin. In other words, politics as usual!
