Heroes' Tale, The

Synopsis:
the Heroes' Tale is the captivating story of love, laughter and loyalty flanked by betrayal on a grand scale. Told from the perspective of four aging black men that time seemed to have forgotten, one unforeseen event caused them to elevate themselves to neighborhood champions. Named after one of Washington, DC's famous neighborhoods, the Dupont Circle Heroes experience Dramatic events that include racial conflict and wrongful imprisonment. "the Heroes' Tale reflects the doo-wop era; when men drank too much wine and shamelessly chased women," states playwright Cheryl Butler-Poole. With art reflecting life, this story will explore the basic human need to know where you come from and more importantly, where you stand." Delivering the audience a provocative expose of life's ultimate coming of age story, the Heroes' Tale will convey an enticing harmony of one chance meeting leading to a life-changing revelation.
