Assume The Worst

Assume The Worst

Synopsis:
This is part of Manhattan Repertory Theatre's Winterfest 2010 Play Festival, a theatrical celebration of new work. What happens when the human mind tries to fill the gaps with misinformation? Where can those simple, yet deadly, mistakes lead? after a year of wedded bliss, Tammy is expecting and Mica doesn't suspect. It is a difficult secret to keep, and an even harder decision whether to keep it. Reuben is overwhelmed with a stress-induced disease which results in hearing loss. He is forced to cope with it under the looming stress of losing his job. Stuck in the middle are Patricia and Cambridge, as they move into the complex with their heavy emotional baggage. She finds faults in him, that she believes her profession can mend. He looks to make amends when his faltering beliefs take precedence over his profession. Thin walls and thick skulls make problems worse, when Patricia and Cambridge turn a blind eye to their failing relationship and begin to watch their neighbors too closely. a tangled web of lies, mischief, and suspicion is woven, which can only be untangled when they face their fears-- the truth!
