Synopsis:

Attention Surplus Disorder

Synopsis:
In a world where aDD is the norm, Mitchell seeks treatment because he actually reads entire books and watches complete movies. Dr. Hunter is joined by his colleague Dr. Collier and assistant Ms. Wright as he sporadically investigates Mitchell's symptoms. Mitchell perseveres as they occasionally return to diagnosing his problem, which he fears to be the dreaded attention Surplus Disorder.

Big Fish Story, The

Synopsis:
Jonah and a friend sit outside his tent watching the big game, when Jonah hears God's voice ordering him to warn the city of Ninevah about their imminent destruction. Pious as Jonah isn't, he instead flees on a ship which is soon beset by stormy seas. Realizing Jonah is the cause, he goes overboard and ends up in the belly of a big fish or three days. after the solitude and smell change his ways, he warns Ninevah who immediately repent and are spared. Jonah hates that Ninevah was spared, so God teaches him an object lesson at the expense of a lovely shade tree.

Case Of the Cereal Killer, The

Synopsis:
It was a Monday like any other Monday, except that it wasn't. Mason makes a bowl of cereal and steps out for the newspaper. When he returns, the cereal is gone and the mystery begins. Mason, in his trenchcoat, fedora, and pajamas, goes through each member of his family to find the culprit, but what he finds is. . . the Case of the Cereal Killer.

Finding God

Synopsis:

Lot In Life

Synopsis:
as a rabbi begins a talk about the biblical story of Lot, Lot's Wife steps out of the story and into debate about what really happened. From her own salty perspective, Lot's Wife reveals the complete story as untold by the Bible. they meet in the desert at the local watering hole, marry, and deal with "crazy Uncle abraham's" new religion that has the neighbors talking. Famine and captivity ensue, catching up to everything Lot's Wife has experienced. Urged by mysterious visitors, the family flees Sodom in the nick of time only to see Lot's Wife meet her infamous end, and she watches powerless as her family meets theirs.

Miles High Club, The

Synopsis:
Kinsey is a NaSa official interviewing astronauts who are married couples as candidates for the first manned Mars mission. NaSa wants to send a couple to study long-term effects of the three year trip, with an eye toward colonization. Jones and Conley's interview becomes less routine as it broaches marital relations, particularly how certain relating would be handled in space. their ambitions for space wrestle with their desire for privacy as more details of their intended mission unfold. Will they put aside their inhibitions in the name of science? Or will they join previous candidates in giving up outer space for their personal space?

More Than Petticoats

Synopsis:
the play presents seven women who had significant impact in shaping California history. their stories are interwoven, told chronologically from the 1840s through 1960s. the women include: Dorothea Lange (photojournalist), Jessie Fremont (politician's wife, made original expedition possible), Mary austin (pre-Feminist author, activist), Mary ellen Pleasant (civil rights figure), Tye Leung Schulze (immigration interpreter, first Chinese pre-suffrage voter), Julia Morgan (most prolific architect ever), Toby Winema Riddle (Indian interpreter).

Synopsis:
Self expression explores its title in two ways. a man struggles to express himself, to propose over dinner. Interspersed are scenes exploring key phases of the course of life: Trial and error (eve on trial for biblical crimes), Retro-Grade (adults in elementary school, taught by a child), Retrograde (two adults go from hate to love, then reverse to hate), Who's Going to Die Tonight? (murder mystery, who's about to die and why?), What Happens Next (a man arrives in what's next).
