Synopsis: | Two twentysomethings are trapped on a rooftop in Brooklyn and contemplate the meaning of what it means to be a Man. . . Or a Woman. . . Or an American. . . Or something. Oh, and their roommate is a cowboy from the 19th century. Welcome to The City, the new frontier. The place where people go to forget themselves, to reinvent themselves, to disappear. The only problem with doing all these things is that they tend to work. And then what do you have? What do you know? Who are you? That's where our story begins. By the time it ends you will see heroes tied to train tracks, singing cowboys, hold-ups, throw downs, and a touching country dance. And although we can't promise any answers, we hope to pose a few more pretty damn good questions. Performed under the stars, this site-specific piece will feature theater, film, and live music. | |||||
