Synopsis:
A few days short of her 50th birthday, Julie, her marriage over, acting career faltering and finances failing, poses for a nude magazine! She flirts with the photographer, unaware of his relationship with her eldest daughter. She is proud of how she looks, but is met with disgust from her youngest daughter and elderly mother, worried about what her Bridge Club will say! Further complications arise when Howard, her estranged husband, arrives with his much younger girlfriend to collect his daughters for a picnic.

Autumn Leaves

Synopsis:
Helen, a young writer, fled from town into the countryside following a traumatic rape. Now living with Owen she is partly recovered through their meeting to his mutual benefit as a former alcoholic. To their cottage comes Frances - an older actress and his domineering wife responsible for ending his singing career and from whom Owen has temporarily 'escaped' from time to time. Frances, now terminally ill, implores him to return to her. Helen begs him to stay - unable to face the future alone. Owen, weak and vacillating, is torn between them. Which of the two women will win?

Benefit Of Doubt

Synopsis:
Young adopted Vivien has been missing for three days. Her foster mother Cynthia is further upset when, at her family home watching her husband Alan on television pleading for information, her Father George states he thinks the police suspect alan's involvement. Her mother, Mary defends Alan but, on her arrival, Cynthia's sister Gwen raises more doubts when she relates a past incident between him and Vivien. Alan arrives after further police questioning, denies everything and accuses Gwen of trouble-making. But doubts linger on and may help to explain Cynthia's otherwise strange reluctance to tell Alan that she is pregnant. then the police arrive!

Synopsis:
Mega drugs shipment is at sea and, converging on the "Smugglers arms" in the fishing village of Trewiddy, come knife-menacing Mickey Finn, sexy undercover agent Vicky Le Brun and reckless investigative journalist Tony Smythe. the landlord is Jim Hawkins, a man with a past and an attractive vulnerable daughter, Polly. Becoming entangled are philandering Mr. Smith and fickle secretary Alice Brown and local poacher Zebedee Smollett, pursued by a jealous wife, ernestine and the village 'bobby', Harbottle, respectively. Plans go adrift when a violent storm erupts at the vital hour. . . when the tide is high and the moon is full!

Devil, The Writer & the Angry Ghost

Synopsis:
ellis has severe writer's block. Having killed off Lord Upstanding on the first page of his new book. . . who by/now what?. . . he misguidedly appeals for help. the Devil duly obliges and conjures up the dead man's ghost. angrily the ghost demands answers regarding his unexpected demise and ellis, threatened with public exposure of his unprofessional ineptness, seeks to provide them. His investigations, however, deteriorate cumulatively as the ghost's fictional but all-too real household regard ellis as the killer. His fate is sealed when the Devil materialises as a Police Inspector. But there is yet a final twist in the tale!

Don't Call Us

Synopsis:
Should one of the four acting profession flatmates not agree to spend the night with their landlord Mr. Robinson upon his return they all face eviction for non- payment of rent. Margaret, the young Drama school student, is ruled out as she prepares for evening date with Rupert, Sally is 'resting' and Irene returns, having quit her waitressing job. all hopes are pinned on Nancy's audition but it's a case of "Don't call us. . ." the telephone rings and Margaret is devastated. . . Rupert is returning to his wife. the telephone rings again. . . Nancy has got the part! With this encouragement the girls devise a bold plan for dealing with their lustful landlord - Mr. Robinson.

Synopsis:
Peter Mumbles MP in London and his wife Harriett in the Midlands suffer mid-week boredom. at their mutual friend Ian's suggestion Peter visits a disco and meets nude model amanda. their assignation in Ian's flat is gate-crashed by the press and in panic, Peter with amanda in tow, naked except for his raincoat, heads home where Harriett awaits a visit from Ian. When the foursome meet, friendship is strained, especially when it is apparent Ian and amanda are already acquainted. Peter claims to have been set up and the sleaze factor worsens with the arrival of the paparazzi leading to an unexpected denouement.

Life Of Riley

Synopsis:
anna believes that her husband, Timothy Riley, has been working in Paris until the unexpected arrival from there of Louise claiming him to be her lover who has disappeared. But Timothy is at his London Head Office and, arriving home, is confronted with Louise who tries to pass off as a member of the Paris office. anna, apparently selflessly, berates him for deserting Louise. Timothy counters with a sudden emergency having sent him to Stockholm. To his dismay, however, leggy blonde Ingrid appears - another desertion - leading to the revelation that Timothy has moved to Moscow!

Man On the Run

Synopsis:
Newly unmarried Eric and Phyllis book in at the Paris Hotel recommended by Bernard the taxi-driver, in exchange for "room service" from Josephine, the receptionist, behind the back of the manager, Monsieur Legrand, with whom she is having an affair. From a newspaper photograph Josephine believes Eric to be an escaped serial killer. Complications ensue, particularly when the Gendarme Father of therese, the chambermaid, arrives in pursuit of the "man on the run" and also to protect her honour from the hanky-pankying Legrand. and when Phyllis becomes involved with Bernard and Eric inadvertently with Juliette, wife of the two-timing Legrand..!

Mixed Company

Synopsis:
Sex-and-shopping novelist Gwen is annoyed at the prospect of a visit by Fiona, intent upon getting her daughter married and bringing a surprise! Gwen, however, has a surprise for Fiona in the shapely figure of her new live-in 'friend' angela whose gay brother Michael is on a visit. Fiona arrives accompanied by Jeremy, already acquainted by Gwen, and now it appears by Michael who Fiona assumes to be Gwen's lover and angela her secretary. Further complications ensue with Fiona's announcement that, unknown to him, Jeremy is earmarked to be her toyboy! Jeremy panics, especially with the imminent appearance of Fiona's husband which also embarrasses angela.

Synopsis:
Teenagers Michelle and Sandra were allowed a weekend use of her country cottage by Michelle's aunt Hannah, who otherwise loathes having strangers there. Michelle reluctantly agreed for their respective boyfriends, Howard and Kevin, to go along. Now events conspired for her to find herself alone not with Howard but Kevin. . . and darkness is falling! General recriminations follow when Sandra and Howard belatedly arrive with Sandra having her younger sister Deirdrie in tow. . . and there are only two beds! More complications ensue in the shape of a stranded honeymooning couple. . . and then aunt Hannah arrives!

Once Upon A Honeymoon

Synopsis:
In Paris at the Hotel 'empress Josephine' elsie, arthur's brand-new bride, is missing. Maurice, the manager, is having trouble with ClouClou, a woman of the street. When arthur goes out to search and behind Maurice's back ClouClou takes arthur's key and heads for Room 13. Finding the key gone on his return arthur assumes that elsie has re-appeared and also heads for Room 13. Later elsie does come back, apparently not knowing where she is, and Maurice, thinking she is one of ClouClou's kind, lures her into his private office. Further complications set in with the arrival of elsie's mother and then the police, ending up with them all under arrest.

Question of Identity, A

Synopsis:
Lance returns home after years abroad to claim his share of the inheritance left solely to his identical twin brother Gyles. A struggle ensues during which Gyles is killed & Lance assumes his identify. The headless corpse at first appears to offer no threat. However when a 2nd body is discovered his newly-acquired past poses a problem for Lance from which there is no escape.

Rear Of the Year

Synopsis:
Piqued by his absence on holiday and apparent lack of interest from Tom, her mild-mannered boyfriend, Sally, out of bravado entered the camp 'miss Dainty Derriere' competition and unexpectedly won. Back home and to her utter dismay the Sunday newspaper coverage features a highly improper photograph provoking reactions from Tom and her parents. This situation worsens when Paul, the camp P.R officer, arrives intent upon luring Sally to London to participate in a national 'Rear of the Year' contest. Tom, however, won't stand for this which surprisingly has the effect of turning the previously mouse-like youth into a masterfully macho man.

Synopsis:
Bruce McGovern MP is aghast, fearing his career might be at stake following news that his film actress wife Marcia is set to co-star with her ex-husband - the womanising Benito Mancini. This she firmly denies and is equally aghast when her agent aimee declares not only is it true but that Marcia only has her part as Benito's insistence! Later Benito arrives with ex-porno movie actress Janine in tow and it transpires that aimee has been double-dealing both Marcia and Benito - that he has been double-dealing Janine. . . and that Bruce has been leading a double life.

Suntanned Ghost

Synopsis:
Unaccepted playwright Mortimer disappeared seven years ago and now is legally dead. Yesterday Alice remarried to eustace on the eve of his Festival of Drama in memory of Mortimer whose re-appearance, together with Gladys with whom he was shipwrecked on a deserted island, causes problems. Alice is no longer his wife and eustace could be made a theatrical laughing-stock - or worse! So Mortimer becomes Dan, his brother in Australia with Gladys as his wife. Dan's arrival for the festival, however causes Mortimer to flee back to his island sanctuary accompanied by Alice whose remarriage was not consummated the previous night. . . teetotaller eustace being too drunk!

Who's Been Sleeping In My Bed?

Synopsis:
Christine, thought to be in Rome with Wendy (both air-stewardesses), returns to find Gavin, her live-in, writer boyfriend, three-to-a-bed with alycia and elissa, nubile Italian identical twins. She pours scorn on his protestations of innocence and explanation. . . finding them on the doorstep, drug-smuggling and being chased by the Mafia. . . more incredible she says than one of his own plots. Upon arrival she even treats heavily-scarred alfredo as a fake and being an actor friend of Gavin. . . how wrong could she get! Things deteriorate further for Christine when Wendy's arrival discloses their probable three-to-a-bed with Peter, their flight pilot.

Wolf's Clothing

Synopsis:
To the consternation of Edward, his literary agent, Thomas announces the immediate demise of his fictional creation, Vance Marlowe, whose womanising exploits he now loathes. although expecting future percentages to finance his married life, Edward throws a lifeline. . . the publishers will postpone exercising their legal option to him signing a new Marlowe contract if Thomas will enter and win a prestigious contest to write 'a History of Womankind'. enthusiastically Thomas accepts, agreeing that should he fail to enter he will sign the contract. Edward, however, has tricked him as all entrants have to be married men. . . and Thomas is a woman-shy bachelor!
