Born in Meadville, Pa. in 1945, this playwright, short story writer and novelist began to learn theatre by acting in university, amateur and semi-professional theatre in both dramatic and musical roles. After receiving a BA from Grove City College, Cochranton, Pa., in 1967, he worked in the retail and advertising businesses before becoming a library assistant in 1981. One of his plays, Attack of the Mushroom People, was a winner in the Ozark Creative Writers Conference in 1981. His novel, "The Lion and the Unicorn," was published in 1983.
