CrackleSnapPop

Synopsis:
In Crackle, Macca comes home to his 'donga' to find wife Irene in what could be construed as a compromising situation only it's not. She's called in Trevor to send off their live-in poltergeist, but there is something Irene and Macca are not telling the ghost buster! In Snap, South Park meets Commedia when we are confronted with three characters from the underbelly of society. Through the card game SNAP, played with photographs from their lives, the game reveals the potent power of the powerless. In Pop, Imogen has had a nervous "breakthrough" and left her celebrity chef life behind.

Ginger Boy

Synopsis:
Billy is 10 years old. He is lying on the slab in a city morgue. He has just been killed. Earlier, he was sexually abused by his brother, Tom, in a garden shed. Then Tom bundled Billy into his car and pushed him out onto the road as he drove towards the mountains. We hear Billy's story within the time space of his landing and dying on the bitumen. His disbelief at his own death and his awareness of the diminishing living space he holds form the drama of this short monologue.

Snap

Synopsis:
Iris and Brian are itinerants who live rough. Iris is much older than Brian and knows more about him than he does himself. Brian is prone to epilepsy and is not the full quid. He doesn't remember a lot of things. His most precious possessions are his photos that he often plays as a game of Snap with Iris. This gives some order to his life's history.

Unconfirmed Sightings

Synopsis:
Two brothers crash their car in the desert. It was the stones that did it. Billy had found first stones under his house. He became their Keeper and had nursed them in his knapsack. For Billy the stones gave him strength and a new way of seeing. But the stones have a mission and have infinite primal power. They wanted to stop the car and they did. Now Perry is unconscious, and Billy has to go for help. But the stones have the power and set the path for Billy's journey. The stones move Billy into a world past the desert fringe where Billy meets Lou, the last Night Parrot, who takes him beyond the Shore Line on an odyssey into the inner recesses of Billy's soul. Here Billy confronts his deceased mother, Violet Bread and his cat Pearl as he struggles to fulfil a lasting relationship with his (br)other Perry before the primacy of the first stones eventually assert their clarity. This is a play about brotherly love and daring to fall outside the line. It is a play about seeing things you shouldn't see and going to places where others haven't gone. It is a play about a world of rocks, animals and sand and about a species that is dying..
