Breaking the Silence

Synopsis:
What happens to family in the aftermath of the Holocaust? This theme dominates the lives of three generations of women. Shaina, a medical student, searches urgently for clues about her family's lost history. Her mother, struggling with her own demons, adamantly opposes Shaina's obsession. And Shaina's grandmother, a survivor of Auschwitz and haunted by feelings of deep guilt, refuses to help... All three women are caught in a spider's web of memories, troubling emotions and nightmares. As they struggle to make sense of it all, they uncover a secret that unlocks their mysterious past.
