Synopsis: | Two bag ladies - one Catholic, the other Protestant - have turned their backs on a divisive society in favour of an anonymous, nomadic lifestyle. Bridget began life as a farmer's daughter destined to marry her childhood sweetheart; Emily was born into a world of privilege, power and eligible young men.
