| Synopsis: | Set in 1968, Bonfire Night centers around the lives of Cynthia and Lorna Johnson, Jamaican immigrants to Birmingham, England. Cynthia, a fading beauty, and Lorna, her 30-something daughter, have settled into a hopeless yet comfortable routine living life together in their old house.
