Synopsis:

It's 1934 and the rural inn, "The Brass Monkey", has hit hard times - again! Only this time it looks like it's on its last legs and, more importantly, on its last Landlord, but not if the pub's most loyal and (probably only) regular customer has his way. But all it took was a letter to a London newspaper informing their interested readership that a strange creature has been sighted in the local area leading to a surprising revival in business, with a host of new visitors, each with their own special reasons for making the long journey to "The Brass Monkey"! Will the beast make itself known? Or will the enticing rumour remain . . .. . . just a rumour? First performed at Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall in May 2006. Cat Flap was nominated for 'Best Production' (Region 3) by National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA). (1930s)
