Synopsis: December 31, 1999. 14 writers go out to report on Millennium Eve; from Chile to Montreal to Tasmania to Africa to Canton. Burn Gloom is inspired by their stories and focuses on four main characters: A business woman whose Landrover breaks down in Africa; A choreographer at an underground lesbian party in Singapore; A French socialite, and a New York policewoman preparing for possible terrorist attacks. | ||||
