Synopsis: Mama and her daughters are threatened with eviction by their landlord, the wicked Squire. A family heirloom is missing and the butler's ghost cannot rest until it is found. All the ingredients of Victorian tongue-in-cheek melodrama are here, and include a pantomime fairy queen for good measure. Songs are sung to traditional tunes and the sets can be adapted to suit either theatre or village hall.
