Synopsis: Mama and her daughters are threatened with eviction by their landlord, the wicked Squire. A family heirloom is missing and the butler's ghost cannot rest until it is found. All the ingredients of Victorian tongue-in-cheek melodrama are here, and include a pantomime fairy queen for good measure. Songs are sung to traditional tunes and the sets can be adapted to suit either theatre or village hall. Audiences will enjoy hissing the villain and cheering the hero in this hilarious one-act. | ||||
