Born and raised in East Pubnico, Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia, Allison discovered his passion for Theatre on a Grade 11 class trip to see The Merchant Of Venice, directed by Patrick Christopher at Dalhousie University. That sparked a four year theatre degree at Dal, as well as diving head first into Foghorn Theatre as Director, Actor, Producer, Designer, and member of the Board of Directors. In recent years, Allison has tried to move away from acting and become more involved with playwriting. His first adaptation was "Much Too Munch", a series of one act plays based on the children's stores of Robert Munch and premiered at the Killiam Waterfront Theatre in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. His first original play was "A Bar Scene" a one-act that premiered in the 2007 Halifax Fringe Festival. All of his plays are available directly through his e-mail address and all of them are rights free.
