His next play NERDS, a musical comedy about Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, was work shopped at New York Stage and Film Festival, premiered at the Philadelphia Theater Company in January 2007 where it won Outstanding New Play and Outstanding Original Music at the 2007 Barrymore Awards. Nerds is slated to open on Broadway directed by Jerry Zaks. Jordan has also produced and written television such as Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew and the MTV Movie Awards where his comedy material has been performed by Ben Stiller and Will Ferrell among others. Synopsis:

The most intense drama on shows like American Idol is often happening. . . when the cameras aren't rolling. Harnessing the incredible energy and enthusiasm worldwide for television contest shows, PHENOMENON is a new American musical that gives an ireverant, behind the scenes look at the absolute chaos and contradictions that make up the backstage reality of producing these shows. A cross between A Chorus Line and Noises Off. . . the musical follows five contestants, three questionable judges, one host and one very stressed-out executive producer through one harrowing finale episode. From the writer of the hit off-Broadway show BOMB-ITTY OF ERRORS and the upcoming Broadway software geek musical NERDS, PHENOMENON is a hilarious take on a pop culture phenomenon, while at the same time lending a much needed third dimension to the characters we've only ever seen from two dimensions on our television sets.

With the help of these Fab Four, she discovers that "We the People" have the power to raise a patriotic ruckus and make a difference! This new musical is recommended for kids age 8 and up, and their families.
