Todd Alcott was a constant presence in downtown Theater in the 1990s. He contributed to three seasons of Cucaracha's UNDERGROUND SOAP, he was a regular at NO SHAME, he staged numerous plays and variety evenings at HOME and Here and Nada, his play ONE NECK had an off-Broadway run, and he performed his monologues in numerous venues from Dixon Place to the Public Theater. His other plays include the USERS WALTZ, VICTIMS OF GRAVITY and A POUND OF FLESH. HELSINOR is the last play he produced in New York, it opened the first week of September 2001 and its run was interrupted by the events of 9/11.
