HANNA AKERFELT (1983 - )
Hanna Åkerfelt is a 23-year-old Finnish playwright. She grew up in one of the country's smallest island communities off the South Western coast of Finland. as a Swedish speaking Finn she is part of a 6% minority of the Finnish population whose first language is Swedish. Four of her plays have been produced by independent Theatre groups in Finland. In 2004 she was awarded a national Youth Prize for her work. apart from writing. Hanna is currently completing a Drama and Theatre course in Finland.
