Address:  PO Box 445, Chichester PO19 3ZH

Established in 1981, Theatre Record has probably the most influential readership of any theatre publication in the UK.

Theatre Record is read - and regularly consulted - by major practitioners: theatres and their administrators, companies and their directors, agents and their clients. It is read by the critics themselves and their entertainments editors. It goes to all major organisations working for the theatre industry. In addition, its circulation to drama schools, colleges and universities makes it available to the industry's next generation.

Through their Library subscribers Theatre Record also reaches a wide readership among the general public and, because it forms an archive resource, remains in the public eye far longer than other journals.

The readership of Theatre Record is not confined to Britain. It is widely read at the same high levels in Europe and the US, in Israel and Japan, Australia and New Zealand - in fact in most countries of the world.

Theatre Record

Theatre Record reprints in full all the national drama critics' reviews of productions in and out of London, with full casts and credits. These are available as individual pdf files from ruth@trsubs.co.uk For more than thirty years, Theatre Record has chronicled Britain's theatre history. Now you can access that history - reviews, cast lists, production photographs - even more easily with THEATRE RECORD INDEXES, the complete listings of productions in London and the Regions from 1981-2010. These give you opening and closing dates, venue and Theatre Record page reference for every show reviewed in those thirty years, in fully searchable files (PDF format) on one CR-ROM disc. You can search by title, author, or theatre and get immediate access to all references in the period.
