Stephanie Youngman is a New Jersey native, best known in the central part of the state for her work as a director and producer at various amateur theaters. Her production of Willie Russell's Educating Rita received an NJACT "Perry" Award as the "Outstanding Production of a Play" in 2005, which she produced and directed for the Villagers Theatre in Somerset. Three of her own plays have been produced locally, Almost Heavenbeing the first, followed by her dark comedyOtis Opus, and her wacky adaptation of Victor Hugo's The Hunchback of Notre Dame for children.

Synopsis: | If you thought the SATs were bad, wait until you get to "almost heaven" where the recently deceased must pass a final exam in order to gain admission to proverbial paradise.
