| 1950s Australia where if it was discovered you were gay you could go to prison. A boxing booth in a travelling sideshow group. Alec a young drifter takes up the boxing challenge and knocks out Billy the sideshow champion. Tiny the owner offers Alec a job. Alec falls in love with Rita, Billy's girlfriend who reads the tarot cards. Then Billy realises that he has fallen for Alec. He tells Tiny. Tiny tells him to be a man and go back to Rita | |||||
