Synopsis:
Set on a fictional university campus, Vent examines contemporary sexual politics crystallised by an accusation of date-rape by one student against another. Caught up in an atmosphere of sexual tension, paranoia and suspicion Vent follows a year in the life of four students and two tutors whose lives become entangled in the fallout. Set in adjoining male and female toilets (the last refuge of the sexes) and targeting the communication breakdown between the genders over sex and the culture it inspires, Vent is an insightful, witty, moving and relevant play.
