Synopsis: | This farcical version of the Old English epic features a rapper chorus and a family of wisecracking servants. The boastful hero Beowulf saves pompous Hrothgar from the monster Grendel and battles Grendel's mother (slow-mo style) in her underwater lair. Returning home, the hero tempts fate one last time by facing a dragon whose breath is worse than his bite. | |||||
