Marita is the 1996 winner of the EWA Czajar award for Women in Theatre. She first started writing in 1988 while working for Grundy Television. Her first play MRS X premiered at La Mama in 1992 and then went on to the CUB Malthouse. Marita also writes corporate training videos. The most recent being for Toyota South Pacific. Currently Marita is working on another play BLOODLINE
