Jackie Torrens is a Halifax-based writer and actor who works in theatre, TV and film. Her critically acclaimed comic plays include Tales from the Glockenspiel, That Is My Heart, Strange Antiques and most recently, Live! Nude! Animal!, produced by Eastern Front Theatre in 1999. Her upcoming work, under the working title Five Fables, will premiere as part of Eastern Front's 2001-2002 main-stage season.
