Synopsis: Caustically comedic evolving into violence. Hamish, perennial student, returns home for his mother's funeral. His loutish father has remarried a woman not much older than Hamish. Hamish has returned not so much for the funeral as to re-establish ties with his younger brother, Devon, whom he fears will have all the individuality stamped out of him as a result of being raised by "John Wayne on a cattle drive." A hostile ugly secret taints the household that only Hamish and his father Know and can work out.
