Synopsis: | Playwright Ashley Straw plays Eloise Anne Redder, a Manhattan socialite that is classically beautiful and elegant even when snorting coke and cussing wildly. SANDRep company actor Chris Ferro plays the simple but irresistible young stud, Ethan Frances, who is constantly resisting an innate and destructive love for Eloise. Drama always existed in this couple's dysfunctional relationship, which the audience learns about through a series of flashbacks in the first act. But calming revelations are exposed in the second act, which examines the duo's quirky relationship in present time. An underlying theme of beauty is heavy throughout the script; so much that even the couple's harsh realities are comforting and appealing to the audience | |||||
