Notes: | The writer of Lub You, one of the most successful entries in the 2009 24:7 Theatre Festival, has been given a Grants for the Arts award from Arts Council England North West to develop the piece into a full-length play. The £4,977 award is for writer Eve Steele to work in collaboration with Northwest Playwrights, Arden, Bolton Octagon and Children's Surestart to create a full-length, three-part version of the play which will be re-titled The Cracks. The original play was nominated for MEN theatre awards for 'new play' and 'fringe production' and won an award for 'performance in a fringe production' for her. It was also chosen as one of the 'Three of the Best' to transfer to Bolton Octagon and the Young Vic in London later last year. | |||||
