Synopsis: | A God in the House is the story of a doomed love affair between a doomed woman and a socially comatose man. Judith Birch, amusic teacher stricken with Alzheimeršs, wants to end her life; Dr. Peter Katseus, a pathologist, has invented a device called the Thanatron for helping the terminally ill 'die with dignity.' Aided by her reluctant husband, Douglas, Judith seeks out Katseus, who ultimately agrees to help her. But Judith's personality, along with her sympathy and appreciation for Katseus and his life's work, arouse unanticipated emotions in him. Katseus rediscovers his human heart just in time to have it broken, since the forces that have brought him and Judith together must ultimately tear them apart. Based on the true story of Dr. Jack Kevorkian and his 'suicide machine.'

Synopsis: | In a middle-class suburban town two brothers share a bedroom. Vincent, 18 and mentally disturbed, idolizes his older brother Larry, who, having abandoned Vincent, has flunked out of college and returned home against his wishes. Left alone in the house by parents vacationing in Hawaii, the brothers engage in a series of increasingly violent games that re-create Vincešs plunge into despair and madness in Larryšs absence. In the end, Larry is forced to pay the ultimate price for the morbid fixations he has instilled in his little brother through 'innocent' childhood games.

Synopsis: | Casey Swine hosts a live TV show. Each evening she pops with cameras and crew uninvited and unwanted into a home to interview its occupants. But when she barges in on Poppa and Mrs. P. therešs a twist: for Casey is their long lost (and presumed dead) child. Pressed to answer questions on camera about their relationship to their daughter, the parents finally reveal the hidden tragic circumstances behind her sudden departure. The inadequacy of public media and image contrasted with the television watching public's unquenchable thirst for private reality are one of several themese satirized in this fast-paced comedy drama.
