Synopsis: | Hugh Hughes has a truly amazing story to tell. On the morning of 1 April 1982 he was preparing to leave his homeland, the Isle of Anglesey. As he made his first step onto the Menai Bridge, an earthquake hit and the island was torn away from the Welsh mainland. While most of the islanders celebrated their newfound independence, Hugh was the only one who desperately wished to escape and discover a life beyond his small island | |||||
