Synopsis: | This drama tells the story of Saint Paul from the time he was a Pharisee persecuting the Christian Church up to the time of his condemnation to death by the Roman Emperor, Nero. Exciting events such as Paul`s conversion on the Damascus road, his victory over a false prophet, his imprisonment and miraculous release, his arrest by the Romans, his perilous voyage to Rome under escort and his trial before Caesar - are all vividly portrayed. Saint Luke, Paul`s companion and author of the biblical story of Paul in Acts of the Apostles, is both the Narrator and an important character in the play. | |||||
