A Ripping Yarn Gone Rancid. Inspired by the works of Noël Coward this irreverent 1940s' romp follows the fortunes of the Carruthers and the Smiths as the two families face the trials and confusions of war. Featuring a tight comic ensemble cast, working in live grey scale, the play is a fusion of 1940s' melodrama, Ealing-inspired farce and darkly comic pathos.
